Sharing the Art of Aerial
Today I was back in my cabin, stretching my muscles and my imagination, flexing out the holiday stillness, to contemplate what the next aerial yoga class might entail.
Today I really want to talk about the HIDDEN costs of running aerial classes.
Today was Day 3 of the European Aerial Dance Festival, hosted by Gravity & Levity, at The Point in Eastleigh. My Day 3 of being a student, not a teacher…
The video shows Tina sitting in red fabric falling backwards, returning to sitting ready to fall again. She is smiling!
We have said goodbye to Battersea for another year.
I love this event. From a very personal viewpoint, it’s one that enables me to bring a fabulous team of experienced and novice circus folk together to share in our passion. Fun. Festive, educational, often upside-down, fun.
Thanks to all the organisers, funders, volunteers and of course my Airhedz team.
See you all down the road. Soon.
At Airhedz, we are fortunate to teach Aerial and Circus to a great mix of people, in a wide variety of places… even on a boat! We even persuade Steve onto a hoop every now and then!!
But today, sadly is our last day in Battersea Park. So, it’s time to hoop it up.
I am pleased to say that bookings for our Airhedz Autumn courses are now open. Places are already going (hurrah!), so if you know there’s something you want to do, don’t hesitate… Contact Us and book your slot.
“Well,” she says exhaustedly, just getting ready for her Friday night adventures at Airhedz Mixed Aerials.
“It’s taken me at least two full days, most times with Retho, my adorable recovering kitten, on my lap, to get this new website up and running. But,” she breathes in deeply, “I think I’m almost there!”
Sometimes it makes sense to me to speak as if I’m another character. Please take time to browse the site. Let me know if there are any errors, and importantly, if any of it needs enhancing or changing to be more accessible.
Thank you.
Hi! Welcome to the new Airhedz website.
Excuse me while I get myself familiar with WordPress. I am keen to create and edit it myself, but it will take some time. Perhaps it is because I should be doing lots of other things instead! I am VERY good at procrastinating.
